2026 Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage Design Contest

By submitting my design to the 2026 Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage Design Contest, I acknowledge and agree that:
1. Original work: The design I am submitting is my own original work. It does not copy, incorporate, or infringe on any third-party copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights. I have the full legal right to submit it.
2. Human-created, not AI-generated: My design was created entirely by me through my own artistic effort — by hand, with traditional media, or using standard digital design tools. It was not generated, in whole or in part, by artificial intelligence tools (including but not limited to image generators such as Midjourney, DALL·E, Stable Diffusion, Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT, or any similar generative AI system), and AI was not used to create, compose, or substantively alter the artwork. Entries found to have been created or substantially assisted by AI will be disqualified, and if discovered after selection, the Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage reserves the right to revoke the award and select a new winner.
3. Grant of rights: If my design is selected as the winning entry, I grant the Dominican Friars of the Province of St. Joseph and the Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, and display the design — in whole or in part — on merchandise (including but not limited to t-shirts, sweatshirts, posters, and other apparel and goods), in promotional and marketing materials, on websites and social media, and in any other manner connected with the Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage and its mission.
4. Commercial use: I understand that merchandise bearing the winning design will be sold, and that the Dominican Friars and the Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage may earn revenue from these sales. I waive any claim to royalties, residuals, or other compensation beyond the $100 store credit awarded to the winner.
5. Modifications: I understand that the winning design may be modified, adjusted, or adapted as needed for production, branding, or layout purposes.
6. Attribution: The Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage may, at its discretion, credit me as the designer, but is not obligated to do so in every instance of use.
7. No obligation to use: Submission does not guarantee selection or use of any design. The Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage reserves the right not to select a winner or to end the contest at its discretion.
8. Non-winning entries: Designs not selected as the winner remain the property of the submitter and will not be used by the Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage without separate written permission.
