Fr. Dominic teaches us that the Rosary is a way of focusing our prayer on the mysteries—the Joyful Mysteries have a way of glorifying the more mundane aspects of our lives and uniting these to the humility of Our Lady. The Sorrowful Mysteries give focus to the power of our sufferings when we unite them to Jesus’ suffering. And the Glorious Mysteries help us focus on the eschatalogical dimension of our lives and the hope of resurrection with the Lord.
