Fr. Joseph-Anthony Kress, O.P., invites you to save the date for the 2026 Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage, taking place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, DC.

Each year, pilgrims from across the country gather to pray the Rosary, celebrate the Eucharist, and entrust their intentions to Our Lady—asking to be led more deeply to Christ through her intercession.

This pilgrimage begins not only in September, but in prayer. Preparation for the 2026 pilgrimage includes a nine-month novena, beginning January 31 and prayed on the last Saturday of each month until the pilgrimage.

Learn more about the pilgrimage, request a complimentary novena prayer card, or download the prayer online at: https://rosarypilgrimage.org/join-us-for-the-2026-novena-dominican-rosary-pilgrimage/

Save the Date for the Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage 2026

Dominican Friars January 1, 2026 12:00 am

What does the Rosary do for charity? At the 2025 Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage, Fr. Austin Litke, O.P., reminded us that Christian charity is not simply a greater degree of love, but a different kind altogether. Through the Rosary, we are formed in a divine love that lifts the heart and gives life.

From the 2025 Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage, Dominican friars chant the Salve Regina, a centuries-old Marian antiphon sung each evening in the life of the Order of Preachers.

Through this prayer, Dominicans entrust the Church, the Order, and all intentions to the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. In this sacred chant, the friars lift their voices in praise and supplication, asking Mary, our gracious advocate, to lead all more surely to her Son.

The next Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage is on September 26, 2026.

Pray the Joyful Mysteries with us as they were offered at the 2025 Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage. Each year, thousands gather in Washington, D.C. to turn toward Christ through Mary. This recording invites you to enter that same spirit of prayer, whether you were with us in person or are joining from home.

As you move through the Annunciation, the Visitation, the Nativity, the Presentation in the Temple, and the Finding in the Temple, let Mary teach you how to welcome Christ with faith and joy. These Mysteries are a steady guide for anyone seeking hope, peace, or a renewed closeness to the Lord.

The next Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage is on September 26, 2026.

We are good only because he has first loved us. During the second conference of the 2025 Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage, Fr. Austin Litke, O.P. shares with us that God’s love does not wait for us to be good. God looks at the very worst of us and still chooses to love. That love is the beginning of every good thing, the love that called us into being and will not let us go.

At the 2025 Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage, Fr. Andrew Hofer, O.P. reminded us to never give up. Not on ourselves, our loved ones, or even our enemies. Our hope is not in our strength but in the work of God within us, made present in the sacrifice of the Mass. May we continue to hope in Our Lord through the intercession of Our Lady and the Rosary.

Never Give Up | Fr. Andrew Hofer O.P.

Dominican Friars November 4, 2025 10:01 am

On October 19th, Blessed Bartolo Longo, the lay Dominican who dedicated his life to spreading the Rosary at Pompei, was canonized—a true witness to the power of conversion and devotion.

In this clip from the 2025 Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage, Fr. Andrew Hofer, O.P., reflects on Bartolo’s journey: a man once lost in darkness, even practicing Satanism, who experienced a dramatic conversion and devoted his life to Our Lady of the Rosary. Fr. Hofer emphasizes that Bartolo’s life is a reminder that the Rosary is a “chain of hope,” lifting hearts to Heaven and inspiring all who pray it.
