The Rosary teaches us to love with a great and unconquerable heart.

In this reflection from the 2023 Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage, Fr. Gregory Pine, O.P., reflects the mysteries of the Rosary open us to the love of Christ, drawing us into deeper union with the one who alone can bear the weight of our hearts.

Through the hands of Mary, may we be led ever deeper into the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Month six of the 2026 Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage nine-month novena is here.

Fr. Walter Wagner, O.P., pastor of Saint Thomas Aquinas University Parish and homilist for the 2026 Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage, offers this month's reflection. This past Easter, his parish welcomed 92 people into the Church through baptism, reception into full communion, and confirmation. But behind that joy, Fr. Walter sits with a harder question: Will they stay?

His answer turns to Mary. At the finding of the child Jesus in the temple, she did not simply move on from what she could not understand. She kept all these things in her heart, returning to the mystery again and again. Fr. Walter calls her the first Christian practitioner of contemplation, and invites us into that same practice through the Rosary.

As we move through the ups and downs of human experience, the Rosary draws us back, again and again, to the unceasing and unfailing mastery of God.

Join us in praying the fifth month of the novena, and in preparing for the Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage on September 26, 2026, at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, DC.

We invite you to hear Fr. Timothy Danaher, O.P., chaplain of Aquinas House at Dartmouth College, as he reflects on the Holy Rosary and leads us in prayer through the Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage Novena. Join us in uniting your intentions with ours as we prepare for the Pilgrimage.

Fr. Timothy describes the Rosary as something both deeply human and deeply divine—rooted in nature and in the history of the Church. From children intuitively recognizing prayer, to monastic life shaped by rhythm and labor, to the Dominican tradition of praying with beads in common life, the Rosary emerges as a prayer woven into the lived experience of the Church across the centuries.

He offers a striking analogy to a four-day golf tournament in April, where each day builds on the last, much like the four sets of mysteries of the Rosary. Together, they form a complete spiritual journey centered on Christ, with Mary at our side.

Christ is risen. Alleluia.

In this Easter message, Fr. Joseph-Anthony Kress, O.P., Promoter of the Rosary, reflects on the joy of the Resurrection and the truth at the heart of our faith: the tomb is empty and death is conquered.

As we celebrate Easter, we are invited not only to believe in the Resurrection, but to share in Christ’s risen life. May this reflection help you enter more deeply into the joy of this day and the promise it holds for us all.

Enter more deeply into Lent by praying the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary with the Dominican Friars.

In this February Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage Novena reflection, Fr. John Paul Kern invites us to contemplate Christ’s Passion through the Most Holy Rosary — uniting ourselves to his Agony in the Garden, his Scourging, his Crowning with Thorns, his carrying of the Cross, and his saving Death on Calvary.

During this sacred season, the Church draws our attention to the mystery of salvation revealed in the Cross. By meditating on these mysteries with Our Lady, we are conformed more closely to Jesus Christ and strengthened by grace to carry our own crosses in hope of the Resurrection.
